If you carve the roast beast
with my hand on the small
of your back you get to make
two wishes (really it’s three
but the first one automatically
has to be I wish for a listener
who will guard my heart inside
their heart) to be used for
anything except more wishes
or more roast beast because
it loses its significance as a
symbol of community peace &
human love if it never runs out
