



Cloud D. Cardona (she/they) is an illustrator, poet, and educator born and raised in San Antonio, Texas. Cardona received her B.A. from St. Mary’s University in English Communication Arts and her MFA in Creative Writing from Texas State University. She is the author of What Remains, winner of the 2020 Host Publications Chapbook Award. Her poems have appeared in Apogee Journal, Cosmonauts Avenue, Salt Hill Journal, and many more. Cardona co-founded Chifladazine, a zine that highlights creative work by Latinas and Latinxs, in 2013 alongside Laura Valdez. In Fall 2019, she co-founded Infrarrealista Review, a literary journal for Texan writers, with Juania Rivas Vázquez.
